AlcatrazAlcatraz is one of the most famous prisons in the world and also one of the most haunted.Located in California, United States, Alcatraz has been home to some of the worst and most famous criminals in the world .Characters like Doc Barker, Al Capone and George "Machine Gun" Kelly have been in this mythical prison.
The Alcatraz's fame comes from being considered one of the prisons where punishments were the order of the day. The atmosphere in this prison was so deranged that many lost their mind and others chose to take their lives.in 1859 and closed in 1963, it is considered today as one of the most haunted places in the world.
It is said that many souls in sorrow are around this place.Numerous members of l National Park personnel who guard the site claim to have heard the desperate cries of some men, crying, objects that change places , unexplained noises and shadows with human form that travel the place.
2.Eastern State Prison
Inaugurated in 1829, the Eastern States Penitentiary located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was characterized as a total isolation prison. The prisoners were confined to small cells without a window and without any kind of social interaction , and those who dared to break the rules received exemplary punishments.Many of the prisoners could not stand it and ended up taking their own lives.
Today, this prison is abandoned in one of the paranormal believers' favorites.There are those who claim that you can hear the screams of the prisoners and if you are lucky you can bump into a dark shadow not very friendly that Walk through the halls.
3.Ohio Penitentiary
This prison was built in 1830, received its first inmate in 1900 and was closed in 1979.prison was demolished and instead built a sports stadium; however, there were so many misfortunes that affected this prison, that it is said that still today these souls in sorrow are around the current stadium.
During the years of operation of This prison occurred many misfortunes .Fire, epidemics of cholera, executed in the electric chair, torture, murders, suicides and others.But without a doubt, the worst episode occurred in April 1930, when a strong fire spread throughout much of the prison killing 322 prisoners in one night .
Witnesses and security guards at the stadium, say that when night falls and in certain areas of the complex you can see creepy shadows pass , as well as the desperate screams of some men.
