The mysterious stone spheres of Costa Rica

Do you remember the Indiana Jones movie "In Search of the Lost Ark"? In one of his initial scenes the protagonist is chased by a gigantic stone ball that rolls inside a temple, it seems like an invention of the scriptwriters but it is not like that. The idea is taken from the spheres or stone balls of Costa Rica .They do not roll inside a temple but they are an incredible mystery.
