Suspicious lights in Michigan, 1903
A gigantic circle of glowing light , as the citizens of Marquette, Michigan had never seen, appeared enigmatically in the sky in 190 3.The strange light event very slowly vanished until it was completely erased.
It did not happen again , but its impact kept residents discussing a series of hypotheses about what might have happened caused the enormous halo.They said that perhaps they were the northern lights, although they quickly rectified that did not seem to be an act caused by nature .It was so unique that the comparisons did not fit.
A newspaper of the date described the terror of those who witnessed the event, without delving into its origin.For all it was a mystery, because they found no logical sense about what could be related to its appearance.
The green sphere , Chicago, 1901
It was so large and bright that, despite the smoke and fog that filled the sky of the city of Chicago, p It could be seen with great clarity. Bright green, that was the color that flashed the sphere of light.
It was not and is not everyday to see something like that, however a tabloid reviewed the event with humor, inspired by the thick fog of the town:
"A considerable emotion was provoked in Chicago last week with the appearance of a strange light in the sky.The emotion was probably due to the phenomenon of seeing something through the Chicago fog."
And just as in the previous case, no one was able to explain with certainty how it happened or what caused it.
Strange event in New York, 1898
During the spring of 1898, in New York, citizens noticed around 8:45 am, a light that traveled from the East to the South of the place .It did not stop at any time...at a steady pace it continued its march until it was erased from the sight of those who watched it with curiosity.
Was it a UFO sightings? Some suspected that yes, while others were alarmed by associating them with threats of war.The suspicions were fueled by the fact that three years before this appearance, in Europe they began to manufacture Zeppelin-type airships in Germany.
