1.The legend of the Gaki
Of the spirits Japanese, the Gaki are the most filthy and terrifying .The spirits known as Gaki are the souls of people who in life were greedy, selfish and committed all kinds of dirty acts in order to satisfy their desires lower.
It is for this reason that the Gaki are ghosts doomed to spend eternity satiating their hunger , and the way they do it is by eating decaying bodies, taking the blood that remains of the dead or worse, eating animal feces.
The aspect or of the Gaki is also quite disgusting , since these have large swollen stomachs of both eating, claws on the feet, fangs, a hump and, in general, a chilling and emaciated appearance.they manage to disguise themselves as humans in order to deceive people and that they satisfy their desires through magic.The Gakis are also known as Pretas and are the inhabitants of the spiritual kingdom Gaki-do or kingdom of the hungry dead.
2.The legend of the Yurei
The Yūrei are ghosts that suffer for some concrete event that happened to them, for not having a proper funeral ceremony or for committing suicide.The legend says that These spirits usually appear at two in the morning to scare and torment the living, although they do not cause any physical damage.
Generally, these spirits are usually feminine and dressed in a white funeral kimono, that is buckled upside down.Another of the most important features is that these ghosts have neither legs nor feet.These creatures are usually accompanied by two fatuous fires of purple, blue or green colors.They also usually appear with a piece of triangular shaped paper or cloth stuck to their forehead.
