Stigma are injuries or marks that appear in the body of a certain person without a physical and rational explanation that can explain them, that is, it is a supernatural event.
What are the marks of stigma and who can suffer it?
Although a stigma can occur in anyone, it is more common for someone who is deeply religious and have a great spiritual connection with Jesus. In fact, the injuries that come to the stigmatized are the same as Jesus suffered before his death.
-Heridas in hands or wrists similar to those generated by piercing them with a nail.
-Wounds in the feet , similar to being also crossed by large nails.
-Her wounds in the head , like those suffered by Jesus of Nazareth when he was placed with the crown of thorns.
-Injuries in the sides when produced by a spear.
-Wounds in the back similar to those that arise after being flagellated.
Some cases of stigmata

He is the first person to have a record of this supernatural event. In the year 1224 it was when Saint Francis of Assisi, imploring Jesus to feel his love, he began to suffer the same wounds for which the son of God died.
In this sense, Celano , biography of San Francisco de Asis relates:
“The flame of devotion grew in such a way that, in excess of his love and compassion , felt completely transformed in Jesus (...) in his hands and feet began to appear the signs of nails such c as they had just seen them in the crucified man on the...and on the side of the saint, who had been said to have been wounded by a throw, a sore had been formed that bled frequently, to the point that his tunic and his tights were often wet with that sacred blood...»
2.Teresa Neumann
Teresa was a deeply religious woman belonging to the third order of San Francisco , in the year 1926 began to experience the first signs of stigma. It became one of the most studied cases by scientific numbers, who worth mentioning could not find any indication that it will be a manipulation.
After having several visions with Jesus, Teresa began to suffer the stigma wounds .The first mark appeared above his heart, then he grew and the wounds of the head, hands, feet, back, shoulders also appeared and he also began to cry blood.
