When talking about the Kennedy assassination most of us immediately see the convertible going through a Dallas avenue in an intense light, followed by the attack on which so many theories have been woven: the murder of John F.Kennedy.
But in this case we want to talk to you about the other murder, that of his brother Robert , also surrounded by mystery and doubts that have returned to the forefront in recent days.
NEW ENIGMA: Something in the murder of Robert Kennedy does not fit
The dawn of June 5, 1968, the senator for the state of New York, Robert F.Kennedy, who a few hours before had become the virtual candidate of the Democratic Party for the presidential elections, was mobilized through the service spaces of the Ambassador Hotel, in Los Angeles, when a shooting ended that ended with a balance of five wounded and the death of the candidate.

The alleged murderer, Sirhan Bishara Sirhan , a Palestinian of Jordanian nationality He was captured on the spot, taken to trial and sentenced to death by the state of California.Subsequently, the sentence was changed to life imprisonment-the abolition of the death penalty in California-and since then he has been serving a sentence, although since 1985 he has been successfully requesting probation and calling his innocence.

Is Sirhan Sirhan innocent? From the beginning there have been serious doubts about the way in which the prosecution and the Los Angeles police handled the investigation .As an example: there were thirteen shots and the weapon that Sirhan carried only had capacity for eight bullets; the hotel maitre, who was in front of Kennedy and took Sirhan by the arm after the second shot, said it was impossible that he had killed Kennedy because of his position, and other witnesses confirmed his statement; However, the authorities rejected the hypothesis of a second gunman and blamed all the responsibility on the Palestinian, who in two years will turn half a century behind bars, for a crime he may not have committed.
In early 2016 Sirhan resubmitted his request for parole in San Diego, and this time he had unexpected support: Paul Schrade , Robert's bell chief and friend of the Kennedy family, who was also injured in the head during the attack.
Schrade, 90, had not seen Sirhan since the trial in 1969, and today he is convinced that is an innocent man who decided to use it as a scapegoat.Shortly before the hearing Schrade made the following statement:
“The LAPD (Los Angeles Police Department) and the LADA (the Office of the Prosecutor of the Los Angeles County) knew two hours after Robert Kennedy's fatal shot that he had They were carried out by a second gunman and they had conclusive evidence that Sirhan Bishara Sirhan could not do it and he did not.The official record shows that the prosecution never had a single witness-neither physical nor ballistic evidence-to prove that Sirhan shot Robert Kennedy The evidence, locked up for 20 years, shows that the LAPD destroyed the physical evidence and hid the ballistic evidence that exonerated Sirhan, covering up the existence of a second gunman, who was the one who fatally wounded to Robert Kennedy.”
For his part Sirhan has not stopped stating that doesn't remember anything that happened that day and his lawyers say that could have been under the influence of drugs or hypnosis .However, despite this significant support, he is again denied probation.

Everything seems to indicate that Sirhan Bishara Sirhan will die in prison, but the enigma of who was Robert Kennedy's true murderer will remain alive, and maybe no answer. And no punishment.
